Opportunity
AnchorFree is looking for a proficient and results driven QA Engineer. You will join that team that developed popular HotspotShield VPN, profiled by the CNN and Wall Street Journal and used by millions around the world. Your main responsibilities will include testing functionality of our advertisement insertion methods for multiple web browsers on Windows and Mac, testing quality of inserted advertisements and evaluating performance of our servers.
Requirements
1. Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Familiarity with web debugging tools: Fiddler, Firebug, etc.

2. Proficiency with Selenium on IE and FF. Must know how to write and use custom Javascript snippets to detect events such as loading or updating of pre-defined elements, presence of the pre-defined cookie values etc.

3. Knowledge of QA methodology, types of testing, experience with creating test plans and test reports.

4. Experience with cross-platform, cross-browser testing: IE, Firefox and Safari; XP, Vista, Win7, Mac etc. Ability to install and effectively use different VM-based testing environments.

5. Ability to work well in a startup team environment; ability and desire to combine test automation with regular manual testing.

Additional desired skills

1. Experience with testing delivery and/or quality of advertisements.

2. Experience with analyzing performance of the Web sites.

3. Experience with writing SQL queries
